200hr Training Course

The Yoga Teacher Training course consists of units which include:

Yoga Asana & Sequencing - Every Session begins with a Yoga practice. This masterclass will help you progress in your self-practice and the session breakdown after the class will educate you in Yoga Anatomy, Posture and Alignment.

Pranayama - Introduction to breath work, breathing patterns and techniques. To relax, improve health and healing in Body and Mind.

Meditation, Relaxation & Mindfulness - Students are introduced to many different styles of the above. Each training day will include one of the above.

Subtle Anatomy - Insights to body energy outside and inside the  body. How the way we think effects the body energy. The power of movement and breath work and how it impacts the mood. Students look at energy systems in the body, based around the course syllabus.

Anatomy & Physiology - A basic breakdown of Yoga poses and what happens inside the body when you do a pose. With a straightforward and logical approach, the teaching will be broken down into thought provoking and readily digestible, manageable sections.

Yoga Philosophy - A brief look at the History of Yoga. Understand where Yoga Poses originate. Chakra & Nadi Systems. How we can serve in the community and help others.

Methodology - A look at Teaching Methods. Boundaries and structured alignment. Teaching methodology.

Becoming a Teacher & The Yoga Business - Teaching Practice and Presentation Skills are developed in Module Two. Class Planning and how to move forward with that class will come through in lesson plans and discussion. This is your time and students are encouraged to communicate and use their voice in a positive, uplifting way. You will learn how to market yourself, raise your profile and keep your clients.

All practice sessions come with a wide range of modifications to suit all levels.

Course Fees

Teacher Training Investment £2,000 - Deposit of £250 (non refundable) paid with application for Training in October.

The course is to be paid in full on the first weekend or alternatively by monthly payments.  Personal payment plans can be arranged with the tutor.  The course must be paid in full before the Diploma is received in May/June 2025.

On completion of the full course a Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Diploma is awarded.

The course follows the Yoga Alliance Professionals Syllabus and comprises of 200 hours (Contact hours & Home study).  The course is 18 days over a period of 8 months
